Mission Statement:

To provide increased hope and quality of life to the people of Perales Peru through a simple yet powerful gesture of love.

How:

A few years ago, the City of Lima Peru recently laid water and waste lines up into the hills of Perales.  Most familes can afford the monthly utility charge.  However, most  cannot afford the one time water and waste hook up, or the labor to install the plumbing.   $900  funds a complete water and waste connection, as well as a sink, faucet, toilet and the foundational brick walls upon which to mount everything.  Your donation of any size is both appreciated and tax deductible and will make a huge difference in many lives.

Goal:

Make access to water and waste services available for 100 Perales homes. 

About Perales

Perales is an impoverished community on the outskirts of Lima, Peru.  The people of Perales are loving and welcoming, despite their difficult situation.  Most homes are fashioned from whatever materials people may find such as scrap metal, wood, concrete, plastic and bricks.   There are often many family members living in perhaps one or two rooms with no running water.   For  many, water must be carried up the hill, and for these same homes there will not be a toilet.  So family members must relieve themselves outside.  Family members also  often must clean themsleves without privacy.  Imagine the difference a working sink, toilet and shower area will make for these people.  What an amazing way to show God's love to the people of Peru!
